Job Purpose
The Team Leader – Holidays will lead, motivate, and support a team of travel consultants in achieving sales targets and operational excellence. The position also involves managing high-value bookings, developing strategic sales initiatives, and ensuring a seamless customer journey for premium clientele.
This is a hands-on leadership role designed for professionals who thrive in high-performance environments and have a passion for delivering world-class travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to maximize daily revenue and improve conversion rates.
- Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align promotions and drive customer engagement.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities in the holidays and cruises segment.
2. High-Value Booking Management
- Personally handle complex and premium travel inquiries, including luxury cruise packages and long-haul destinations.
- Convert high-value leads through expert travel consultation, negotiation, and personalized service.
- Meet personal sales targets while supporting team goals.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences, cultivating long-term relationships and repeat business.
3. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of travel consultants to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings and individual reviews to track progress, share insights, and provide constructive feedback.
- Deliver ongoing training on travel products, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Foster a collaborative and high-energy work environment focused on growth and success.
4. Operational Excellence
- Ensure timely reporting of daily sales performance, leads, and customer feedback.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Optimize workflows to boost efficiency and accuracy in bookings.
- Collaborate with finance, marketing, and operations to ensure flawless execution of travel packages.
- Use CRM and booking systems effectively to manage customer interactions and follow-ups.

Additional certifications such as IATA or CLIA are advantageous. - Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in the travel, holidays, or cruise industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, booking platforms, and industry-standard software tools.
