Position Objective
The Merchandiser supports the Brand Manager in planning product and assortment strategies that meet financial targets. The job involves coordinating stock allocation, replenishment, and store transfers while ensuring stores maintain balanced collections and adequate inventory.
You will also assist with financial planning activities such as pre-season planning, open-to-buy management, and budgeting for new stores.
Key Responsibilities
Product Planning & Allocation
- Coordinate merchandise distribution across all regional stores
- Ensure balanced assortment and timely replenishment
- Manage inter-store stock transfers
- Support new store inventory planning
Sales & Data Analysis
- Prepare Retail Pro and Sell-Through reports
- Analyze best-selling and slow-moving products
- Review past season sales and forecast current season trends
- Evaluate price points, colors, and product styles performance
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with stores, logistics, and warehouse teams
- Coordinate with buying teams regarding orders and product issues
- Collect customer feedback on products
- Monitor competitor product offerings and market opportunities
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare merchandise plans and presentations
