Job Purpose
As a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring and executing warehouse and logistics operations while ensuring timely, efficient, and safe support for Emirates’ maintenance teams. You will work closely with various internal teams to manage inventory flow, tool distribution, and spare parts handling — all while upholding the company’s rigorous operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials, tools, and aircraft spares.
- Manage documentation such as airworthiness certificates and discrepancy reports while maintaining proper records.
- Coordinate warehouse activities and monitor task execution to ensure customer requirements are met on time.
- Maintain effective internal communication to ensure smooth material flow across the supply chain.
- Enforce safety standards and compliance procedures to prevent incidents and maintain a safe workplace.
- Support the Shift Duty Officer in preparing daily performance reports and tracking KPIs to optimize resource utilization.
- Act as a deputy to the Shift Duty Officer when required and oversee specific warehouse operations to achieve performance targets.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
- A vocational or diploma qualification (12+2 or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an engineering or logistics-related field.
- At least 1 year of warehouse or logistics coordination experience, preferably in an Aviation or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment.
- Proficiency in office applications, warehouse management systems, and ERP platforms.
- A valid UAE driver’s license or Airside Driving Permit (ADP) is an added advantage.
This is a safety-sensitive role, requiring strict adherence to company policies and safety regulations. The position may involve a day/night shift roster (12-hour shifts) or a general 8.5-hour day shift, depending on business requirements.
