Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Late Shift Driver, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Embassy’s transport operations. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, punctual, and professional driving services to Embassy staff and visiting delegations.
Main Duties Include:
- Transporting Embassy staff and delegations to scheduled appointments.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks including tyre pressure, engine oil, brake fluid, and battery maintenance.
- Keeping vehicles clean and ensuring regular servicing as per schedule.
- Completing basic administrative and reporting tasks related to transport operations.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor, especially when interacting with VIP guests.
- Displaying flexibility and availability at short notice to meet operational demands.
- Supporting other Embassy functions as required.
The position demands reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and service quality.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must possess:
- A valid UAE driving licence with a clean record.
- Proven driving experience and sound vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with courteous behavior.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications and Added Advantages
Candidates with prior experience driving for Embassies, Diplomatic Missions, or international organizations will be given preference.
Additional desirable skills include:
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi road networks.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Understanding of Health and Safety principles.
- Proficiency in Arabic.
Job Details and Benefits

- Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Late shift: 14:00–22:00, Monday to Friday)
- Monthly Salary: AED 6,852
- Annual Leave: 25 days per year (pro-rata)
- Contract: Renewable upon satisfactory performance
