Emirates SkyCargo is hiring a Sales Support Agent – Courier Express to support commercial operations, customer onboarding, and accurate billing processes. About the Role
The Sales Support Agent plays a critical role in delivering high-quality customer service while supporting new and existing customers of SkyCargo. The position focuses on onboarding customers as account holders in association with IATA CASS accreditation, ensuring correct billing of freight and optional services based on agreed tariff rates.
This role works closely with internal teams such as Revenue Accounts, Finance, and AWB Verification to maintain operational accuracy, resolve disputes, and support compliance with cargo and billing standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Commercial Support
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to courier and express customers
- Manage the commercial support mailbox and respond to customer requests and billing queries
- Resolve freight billing disputes and follow up on customer concerns promptly
Billing & Revenue Control
- Ensure freight charges and optional services are billed accurately as per approved tariffs
- Track and record additional services such as ATA trucking, relabelling, and packing fees
- Verify waivers and refunds related to freight, other charges, and cash/card transactions
- Recover charges that were waived without proper authorization
AWB & Reporting Management
- Coordinate with EK Revenue Accounts to manage and release AWB stock ranges to agents
- Run daily COU AWB movement reports and bill ULD pivot weight charges
- Perform weekly quality checks and resolve AWB verification discrepancies
- Reconcile daily cash and card collection reports and share them with the EK Finance team
Process & Compliance Support
- Assist in raising waivers, service recovery cases, and manual CCAs
- Submit approval requests via SkyConnect, SkyChain, and email channels
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and future reference
Qualifications & Experience Required
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the air cargo industry in a team leader or equivalent role
- Strong background in cargo operations and customer service
- Solid knowledge of Air Cargo Tariffs, IATA/FIATA regulations, and import/export rules
- Familiarity with SkyCargo systems, policies, and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Office applications
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and creative thinking skills
