As a Warehouse & Logistics Assistant, you will be a key player in maintaining the seamless functioning of our Engineering Warehouse and Logistics operations. Your contribution will have a direct impact on ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out on time, guaranteeing the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a variety of warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety procedures. Your main duties will include:
- Receiving, storing, picking, issuing, transferring, and pre-loading materials and tools.
- Delivering spare parts and organizing pre-loaded materials at maintenance and customer locations.
- Meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and departmental targets through effective task management.
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM) at all times.
- Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate inventory and documentation using system tools, including computers and handheld devices.
- Assisting in various warehouse sections such as Goods Inwards, Main Stores, Tool Stores, and Line Maintenance Stores.
Your efficiency and attention to detail will be key in ensuring our engineering teams receive the right materials at the right time, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- Education: Minimum of 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse or logistics operations (preferred).
- Skills: Basic English communication skills and strong physical fitness are essential.
- Additional Qualification: Possession of a valid UAE driving license or Airside Driving Permit (ADP) will be an advantage.
- Safety-Sensitive Role: Strict adherence to company safety policies and procedures is mandatory.
