Job Purpose

The Stores Controller will manage and control all Air Arabia “Stores” operations. This includes the receipt, storage, and issuance of tools, equipment, and spare parts required for the maintenance of both Air Arabia and third-party aircraft. The role ensures that every activity follows the company’s policies and the regulatory standards set by aviation authorities.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will oversee the daily stock management of essential items such as toolboxes, spare parts, wheels, batteries, and oils. Ensuring timely availability of materials is crucial for planned and unplanned maintenance activities, supporting the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.

The Stores Controller will perform daily inspections to verify that all storage areas meet the required safety, temperature, and humidity standards. The position also involves managing the binning and inventory system using the ICARUS and RAL systems to maintain accurate records of all tools and components.

Qualifications and Skills

Applicants must hold at least a High School Diploma or a related certificate. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent communication skills in English. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory.

Work experience in a similar role within the airline industry (1–2 years) is required. Familiarity with inventory software systems and knowledge of GCAA regulations is highly desirable. Additional training in IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations offers an advantage.
