Key Responsibilities
As an Accounts Clerk, you will play a vital support role within the Finance Department. Your responsibilities include:
- Raising requisitions for stationery and office supplies
- Maintaining accurate accounting records and handling finance correspondence
- Receiving and distributing incoming mail for the Finance Department
- Ensuring attendance sheets are approved before submission to the Paymaster
- Assisting the Paymaster with attendance and payroll administration
- Distributing payslips to Department Heads and obtaining acknowledgments
- Managing incoming calls, transferring as required, and recording messages
- Following up with suppliers on pending payments
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality for all records and data
Education & Experience Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel environment
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong computer literacy
