Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Executive, you will be responsible for handling customer interactions and ensuring smooth shipment operations. The role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Customer Service Duties
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding shipment status and inquiries
- Provide freight quotations (air, sea, and land)
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate with agents, carriers, and transporters
- Arrange bookings for FCL, LCL, air freight, and land shipments
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers
- Ensure on-time delivery and manage delays efficiently
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations
- Coordinate with customs clearance teams for import/export processes
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates applying for this position should meet the following criteria:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding customer service
- Abu Dhabi experience is an added advantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
