Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Inspection
- Assist in unloading, checking, and recording incoming goods, including spare parts, HAZMAT materials, and petroleum, liquids, and oils (POL)
- Verify quantities and quality against delivery notes and purchase orders
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately to the Logistics Team
- Support cross-site logistics activities across internal and external storage areas
Storage and Organization
- Ensure proper labeling, racking, and placement of materials in designated storage locations
- Maintain organized and accessible storage systems to support efficient material retrieval
- Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and other approved inventory rotation practices
Issuing and Dispatch
- Support the issuing of spare parts, materials, and HAZMAT items against authorized requisitions
- Prepare items for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and documentation compliance
- Assist with packaging and securing materials for safe transportation
Inventory Control
- Update stock records in ERP systems (Oracle) under supervision
- Assist with cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and audit preparations
- Monitor stock levels and notify the Storeman of low or critical inventory
Housekeeping and Operational Support
- Maintain clean, organized, and obstruction-free store areas
- Assist in maintaining tools, equipment, and storage infrastructure
- Provide general support to the Storeman and logistics team as required
Compliance and Safety
- Adhere strictly to QHSE, COSHH, and company safety standards
- Use appropriate PPE and follow safe handling procedures, especially for HAZMAT items
- Maintain hazard-free storage areas and conduct basic risk assessments related to logistics activities
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a High School Certificate or Diploma and have basic knowledge of SAP or Oracle ERP systems. Applicants should have 2–3 years of experience working in a warehouse or storage facility, with familiarity in inventory handling and documentation processes.
