The Opportunity: Storekeeper – Lexus Al Ain
Al-Futtaim Automotive is currently seeking a Storekeeper to join its Lexus team in Al Ain. This position plays an essential role in managing the workshop store and ensuring the efficient flow of tools, consumables, and spare parts. The role also provides crucial administrative support to the Workshop Manager, helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of consumables, equipment, tools, and manuals as per workshop needs.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure accuracy in quality and quantity.
- Issue and track materials while ensuring timely returns and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support periodic audits.
- Assist the Workshop Manager with attendance management and other administrative tasks.
- Ensure workplace safety standards are followed in storage areas.
- Monitor unused or waste stock and arrange proper disposal.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 2 years of stock management experience, ideally in an automotive workshop.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular); SAP experience is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Trade-related certificate or diploma in automotive studies with 2–3 years of relevant workshop experience.
The role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to work closely with workshop supervisors, controllers, and technicians.
