Position Objective
The main objective of the Store Keeper role is to manage the daily receipt, verification, storage, and issuance of materials and spare parts. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock levels, maintain compliance with company procedures, and support technicians through timely material distribution using ERP and Coupa systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Material Receiving & Quality Control:
Inspect all incoming materials to ensure they meet specified requirements in terms of quality, quantity, expiry dates, and warranty. - Inventory Monitoring:
Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock levels based on operational demand. Process materials requests through ERP systems and coordinate closely with the technical team. - FIFO Management:
Apply the First-In, First-Out method to preserve item shelf life and reduce wastage. - Tool Control & Documentation:
Maintain records of issued and returned tools, disposal logs for damaged tools, and raise tool purchase requests in line with budget approvals. - Petty Cash Management:
Oversee petty cash transactions, ensuring complete documentation for financial reporting and audits. - Compliance & Storage Safety:
Store all materials in designated areas while adhering to safety standards and regulatory compliance. - Purchase Order Coordination:
Initiate purchase requisitions and follow up on approvals to maintain uninterrupted operational flow. - Systematic Recordkeeping:
Maintain proper filing systems for traceability and audit readiness of inventory and transaction documents. - Team Coordination:
Liaise with workshop technicians to fulfill day-to-day requisitions and emergency requests efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
- Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent (mandatory)
Work Experience:
- Hands-on experience managing spare parts and inventory (mandatory)
- Understanding of automotive/fleet maintenance operations (preferred)
Skills & Certifications:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
