Job Role: Storekeeper
The Storekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding company standards for safety and quality.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in supply chain management, logistics, or warehouse operations who are passionate about precision, organization, and compliance with international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Procurement Department for material receipts and ensure accurate coding in Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
- Manage inventory control, maintain accurate records, and ensure real-time stock updates in the ERP system.
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials while adhering to QHSE and ISO standards (9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2015).
- Plan, monitor, and coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and logistics compliance.
- Maintain safe storage of hazardous materials and follow HSE guidelines.
- Conduct periodic physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Support the Quality Control team in verifying incoming materials as per specifications.
- Report any non-conformities, accidents, or hazards in line with company policies.
- Uphold standards of safety, cleanliness, and orderliness within the store.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in storekeeping, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in construction or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding materials, warehouse operations, and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods handling and HSE compliance.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage time efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license (forklift certification preferred).
