Overview of the Role
The position of Warehouse In-Charge is based in Dubai within the Commercial Vehicles – AFM TMHE division. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations in the parts warehouse by maintaining accurate inventory, implementing safety protocols, and optimizing daily processes. The Warehouse In-Charge will also lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and efficiency in line with the company’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse In-Charge, you will be expected to:
- Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders when required.
- Maintain accurate records of parts and supplies.
- Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and inventory checks.
- Oversee the proper receipt, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts.
- Ensure the warehouse layout is optimized for efficiency.
- Implement and enforce health and safety procedures.
- Prevent damage by ensuring correct storage methods.
- Manage, train, and schedule warehouse staff while enforcing policies.
- Support operational goals by collaborating with the Aftersales Manager.
This role not only requires technical warehouse knowledge but also strong leadership skills to ensure the smooth coordination of daily activities.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision, preferably within the automotive sector.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP platforms.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse or parts operations.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
