Role Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities related to furniture handling, inventory management, and team supervision. The role ensures that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Inbound Operations
- Supervise the receiving of furniture shipments, ensuring accurate quantity and quality checks
- Coordinate unloading, inspection, and proper documentation of incoming goods
- Address discrepancies or damages promptly and report them through the correct channels
Storage & Inventory Management
- Ensure correct storage of furniture items to prevent damage or deterioration
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations
Outbound Operations
- Plan and oversee picking, packing, and dispatch activities for furniture orders
- Ensure items are prepared on time for delivery and loaded safely onto trucks
- Coordinate dispatch schedules to meet delivery timelines
Team Management
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff and casual labor
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to meet productivity and quality targets
- Promote safe handling practices for heavy and fragile furniture items
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and proper material handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and store teams for incoming shipments and distribution
- Prepare daily and weekly reports covering inbound/outbound activities, inventory status, and manpower utilization
Skills & Qualifications

Required Profile
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience: 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably handling furniture or bulky goods

- Understanding of furniture handling, storage, and packaging standards
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills
