Job Overview
The Transportation Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of guests and crew within the Airside environment. This includes operating guest buses and VIP vehicles while strictly following aviation safety regulations and company procedures. The role requires high attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work within a highly secure operational area.
Drivers must ensure that all movements are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with Airside security standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bus Driver or VIP Driver, selected candidates will be responsible for the following duties:
- Working within the Transport section as a guest bus driver and/or VIP car driver
- Ensuring guest safety at all times during transportation
- Providing a consistently high level of customer service
- Adhering to assigned schedules and operational timeframes
- Maintaining personal safety and ensuring the safety of passengers and colleagues
- Following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Reporting hazards, incidents, or irregularities to management
- Raising GSRs (General Safety Reports) when required, in line with corporate guidelines
This role demands discipline, alertness, and professionalism at all times within the Airside environment.
Education and Experience Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Comfortable working in a multi-cultural workforce
- Possession of a valid UAE Heavy Duty Driving License
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar driving role
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and secure operational environments
