Key Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant – Receivables will handle multiple financial functions related to customer accounts and payment management.
Main Duties
- Generate rebate credit notes and customer account statements
- Perform account reconciliations and aging reports
- Review customer credit limits and credit terms
- Monitor customer transactions and financial activity regularly
- Work closely with the collections department to manage client payments
- Analyse customer credit history and improve repayment arrangements
- Conduct bank reconciliation including cash, cheque, and bank transfer transactions
- Pass journal entries for relevant accounting transactions
- Review KYC documentation and create customer codes in the ERP system
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies or queries raised by the sales team
