Job Overview
The Sales Officer will play a key role in implementing Etihad Cargo’s commercial strategy and driving revenue growth within the assigned market. The successful candidate will lead and support commercial activities, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure the achievement of sales and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Commercial Strategy and Sales
- Implement Etihad Cargo’s commercial strategy within the assigned market.
- Drive revenue growth, load factor performance, and yield optimization.
- Develop and execute effective country, area, and account plans.
- Identify business opportunities and address market challenges proactively.
Team Leadership and Performance
- Guide and support the in-source cargo sales team.
- Set objectives and performance targets for team members.
- Conduct coaching and performance management activities.
- Ensure alignment with business goals and budget expectations.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Manage customer contracts according to Etihad Cargo’s segmentation model.
- Work closely with global, regional, and local key accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Market Intelligence and Compliance
- Collect and analyze market intelligence.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to headquarters.
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Follow all safety, security, quality, health, and environmental procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial experience within the cargo industry.
- Strong cargo commercial experience.
- Good knowledge of warehouse handling and GHA operations.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
