About the Role
The Accountant – Management Accounts is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, preparing management reports, and supporting budgeting activities. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintain accounting records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Record and verify financial transactions using the Sage X3 accounting system.
- Process credit notes, debit notes, invoices, and supplier payments accurately.
- Ensure timely recording of outstation expenses, accruals, and vendor reconciliations.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of suppliers, GSAs, inter-company accounts, and hubs.
- Prepare budget versus actual reports for departments and assist with budget planning.
- Review balance sheet accounts and prepare accounting entries including accruals and reversals.
- Support month-end and annual financial closing activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.
- Prepare MIS reports and other management reports by analyzing financial information.
- Monitor outsourced service providers and ensure timely invoice processing.
- Maintain financial controls and report discrepancies to management.
Required Qualifications
