Job Purpose
The Driver plays a vital role in shaping the guest’s first and last impressions of the hotel. This position focuses on providing safe, comfortable, and highly personalized transportation services while ensuring guests feel welcomed, respected, and cared for throughout their journey in Dubai.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
As a Driver at Cafe, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing safe and timely transportation for guests to and from designated locations
- Creating enchanting guest experiences through warm, gracious, and personalized service
- Welcoming guests and patrons professionally, addressing them by name whenever possible
- Assisting with baggage handling and monitoring flight timings when required
- Maintaining excellent knowledge of Dubai landmarks, attractions, shopping areas, and cultural sites
- Acting as the first point of contact and ensuring a positive first impression
- Monitoring the hotel driveway to ensure cleanliness and safe vehicle movement
- Preventing damage to the driveway by managing parking and traffic flow
- Supporting guests, colleagues, and patrons with information and assistance
- Adhering strictly to hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
Job Description & Responsibilities
Safety Equipment: Ensure the vehicle is equipped with mandatory 2026 safety gear (fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and reflective vest).
Safe Transportation: Transport staff, goods, or documents safely and punctually to various locations across Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily checks on the vehicle (oil levels, tire pressure, fuel, and cleanliness) to ensure it is in top condition.
Route Planning: Use GPS and local knowledge to choose the most efficient routes, avoiding heavy traffic and ensuring on-time arrivals.
Compliance: Strictly follow all UAE traffic laws and regulations to avoid fines and ensure passenger safety.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules.
Skills & Personal Attributes
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English
- Additional language skills are an advantage (Arabic preferred)
- Professional appearance with a warm, confident personality
- Strong guest service mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional under pressure

Requirements
Availability: Ready to join immediately.
License: Must hold a valid UAE Light Vehicle (Manual/Automatic) Driving License.
Experience: Previous driving experience in the UAE is preferred.
Road Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Abu Dhabi roads and major UAE highways.
Skills: Basic communication skills and a professional, disciplined attitude.
