Position Overview
The Official Store Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Merchandise Support Controllers and the Manager Merchandise by overseeing operations across all Emirates Official Store outlets. These include the Emirates Group Headquarters, Emirates IT building, dnata Travel Centre, Dubai International Airport (DXB), and The Dubai Mall. The role requires close collaboration with store teams to achieve sales targets, maintain brand identity, and deliver a premium customer experience at every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
1. Retail Operations Supervision
- Oversee daily activities across all Official Store locations.
- Ensure brand standards are consistently implemented as per the Visual Style Guide.
- Conduct routine store visits and assessments to maintain operational excellence.
- Support financial performance through effective planning and execution.
2. Inventory & Logistics Management
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy across all outlets.
- Organize yearly stock-takes and initiate flash stock counts when required.
- Collaborate with EK Stores and logistics partners to coordinate stock deliveries.
3. Planning, Reporting & Documentation
- Develop and update a rolling marketing calendar in coordination with the team.
- Generate weekly or monthly performance reports for management review.
4. Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor store sales representatives to ensure consistently high service standards.
- Prepare monthly staff schedules based on business demands.
- Encourage a culture of excellence, teamwork, and brand pride.
Additional Responsibilities
Official Stores
- Implement visual merchandising updates based on new arrivals and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure POS systems are audit-compliant and assist with system improvements.
- Oversee temporary stores during major events such as the Dubai Airshow and Arabian Travel Market.
Dubai Duty Free
- Present new product ideas to DDF teams and align profit margins with company targets.
- Manage order fulfillment and invoicing for DDF business.
The Dubai Mall – Flight Simulator Zone
- Monitor daily bookings through the Digitickets system.
- Respond to customer queries and manage scheduling needs.
- Use analytics tools to support marketing decisions and enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in retail sales is essential.
- Previous supervisory experience and visual merchandising skills are an advantage.
- Strong command of English; additional languages offer extra benefit.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
