Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Leadership
- Manage people, processes, and systems to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Lead warehouse teams, including supervisors and floor operations personnel
- Plan work rosters, assign tasks, and appraise team performance
- Ensure uninterrupted movement of raw materials to production
Inventory & Logistics Control
- Oversee daily inventory and logistics operations
- Maintain stock accuracy through weekly system vs. physical reconciliation
- Plan and execute annual stock counts
- Prepare and present operational status reports for management
Quality, Safety & Compliance (QSHE)
- Define and enforce SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and statutory requirements
- Act as auditee for warehouse-related requirements
- Ensure compliance with Quality Integrated Management and EHS systems
- Implement best safety practices and monitor service quality
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to improve storage and operations
- Receive feedback and drive improvements across warehouse processes
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse/logistics operations with a proven track record
- Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
