Role Overview
The Logistics Officer is responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics operations to support international and local supply requirements. In addition, the position supports Etihad Airways Group end users by coordinating the movement of non-stock assets across international and domestic locations.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, the Logistics Officer will:
- Coordinate with local and overseas vendors to confirm shipment readiness in line with purchase order need-by dates
- Work closely with warehouse and inventory planning teams to manage stock requirements and ensure timely replenishment
- Monitor shipment departures and arrivals according to the approved shipping mode
- Ensure original shipping documents are received on time and comply with customs regulations
- Coordinate with clearing agents and warehouses to guarantee on-time delivery of shipments
- Liaise between suppliers, buyers, and accounts teams to resolve invoice or GRN discrepancies
- Review and process freight forwarder and clearing agent invoices in coordination with accounts and cargo teams
- Manage shipments to approximately 30+ Etihad outstations monthly, ensuring consistent replenishment
- Arrange logistics support for projects and marketing departments
- Coordinate shipments with OSS Catering and clearing agents for timely delivery
Education and Experience Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably International Logistics
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an International Logistics Officer in a large organization
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (Transportation Module)
- Strong communication skills to interact with suppliers and partners worldwide
- Proven negotiation skills, including experience negotiating spot rates with freight forwarders
- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
