Job Description
The Warehouse Helper will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day handling, movement, and management of goods within the warehouse. This includes ensuring that deliveries, shipments, and storage operations are performed with precision, efficiency, and care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring proper handling of materials during loading and unloading to prevent damage.
- Making sure all assigned deliveries are executed promptly and accurately according to schedule.
- Reporting any discrepancies or damages found during delivery to the supervisor for resolution.
- Maintaining professional behavior when interacting with customers to support satisfaction and service quality.
- Completing warehouse tasks in line with company timelines and performance standards.
- Efficiently using warehouse tools and equipment such as HHTs (Hand Held Terminals) and MHEs (Material Handling Equipment).
- Picking and packing stock accurately as per the pick list.
- Moving goods to designated staging areas post-picking for dispatch readiness.
- Avoiding wastage of packaging and consumable materials during operations.
- Maintaining cleanliness, grooming, and hygiene within the workplace.
- Handling all materials with care to minimize or eliminate handling damage.
