Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting and financial tasks, including:
- Handle IATA BSP reconciliation and airline settlements.
- Manage ADM/ACM accounting and remittance processes.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll and monitor company cash flow.
- Coordinate financial audits.
- Reconcile BSP reports and ticketing transactions.
- Handle refunds, exchanges, and commission reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2–4 years of UAE travel industry accounting experience.
- Previous IATA travel agency experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IATA BSP accounting and airline settlements.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with nuTRAACS Accounting Software is preferred.
- Proficiency in Amadeus, Galileo, or other Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
