Job Purpose and Overview

Key Responsibilities
Planning and Analysis
The role involves identifying recurring trends in customer complaints related to product or service issues. These insights are shared with section heads to help implement corrective actions and prevent future service failures. Customer compliments are also acknowledged, with appreciation communicated to customers and relevant internal teams.
You will analyse complaints by breaking them down into key issues and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure every concern is investigated comprehensively.
Customer Engagement and Deployment
The Customer Relations Coordinator must be receptive to both verbal and written complaints, responding promptly and assuring customers that their concerns are being actively investigated. This immediate engagement ensures effective service recovery and protects the company’s brand image.
Leadership and Reporting
Regular discussions are held with managers regarding investigation outcomes, including recommendations for compensation, reimbursements, or goodwill gestures to restore customer confidence. Execution and Communication

Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (12+3) in Business Management, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field. A minimum of three years’ experience in customer service or relationship management is required, preferably within an airline, tourism, or travel-related customer contact environment.
Strong written and spoken English skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a calm, professional approach under pressure are essential. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, along with strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and email systems, is mandatory. Familiarity with hospitality, B2C retail, travel, and tourism operations is an added advantage.
