About the Role
Masafi is looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to support the accounting operations of its growing e-commerce business. The successful candidate will manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
This role requires practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and a strong understanding of e-commerce financial processes, including marketplace settlements, payment gateways, refunds, and returns.
Key Responsibilities
The Accountant / Finance Executive will be responsible for:
- Managing daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records.
- Reconciling e-commerce sales, payment gateways, refunds, returns, and marketplace settlements.
- Preparing monthly financial reports and supporting month-end closing activities.
- Maintaining accurate accounting documentation and financial records.
- Assisting with VAT filing, audits, and statutory compliance.
- Monitoring outstanding receivables and payables.
- Posting accounting transactions accurately in Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
- Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies.
- Supporting management with financial analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Hands-on accounting or finance experience, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
- Practical experience using Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, and marketplace reconciliations is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
